A construction group based near Bradford is seeking an AAT Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their finance team. This role offers a hands‑on position supporting the day‑to‑day financial operations for an experienced bookkeeper or part‑qualified accountant looking to progress their career within a respected construction business.
Key Responsibilities
* Support daily finance and governance activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Maintain accurate records and uphold data integrity within financial systems
* Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial workflows
* Process weekly payroll
* Prepare monthly journals, including prepayments and accruals
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations
* Manage CIS returns and quarterly VAT submissions
