Our client, a reputable and well-established independent garage situated in the Ystrad Mynach area, is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshops. Stable weekday schedule, Monday to Friday, 8:15am-5:15pmDuties of the Senior Vehicle Technician:
Conduct vehicle servicing and routine repairs in accordance with client standards
Handle larger repair tasks such as engine rebuilds, diagnostics, and complex maintenance operations
Diagnose faults accurately and report findings to the Workshop Manager
Ensure compliance with quality procedures and safety standards
Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy, franchise-approved environment
Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians where necessary
Contribute to team targets and uphold customer satisfaction as a Senior Vehicle Technician
Requirements of the Senior Vehicle Technician:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification as a Vehicle Technician
Previous experience as a Senior or Master Technician, ideally with expertise in premium brands such as JLR, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, or VAG
Strong diagnostic and repair skills with the ability to complete all workshop duties independently
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Excellent team player with a dedicated and professional attitude
