Provides administrative support in a Maintenance Regional Crew Branch. Work involves coordinating logistics of regional maintenance crews responsible for performing statewide transportation maintenance work and emergency response. Reports to the Maintenance Regional Crew Branch Manager. Works with districts and law enforcement. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
Essential Duties
* Edits correspondence, reports, forms, and documents for proper format, spelling, grammar, punctuation, typographical errors, syntax, style, sentence structure, content, and clarity.
* Inputs and maintains daily production reports and compiles monthly reports for manager.
* Maintains calendars for department personnel to include scheduling meetings, coordinating and making appointments, and travel arrangements.
* Coordinates logistics of regional maintenance crews by securing lodging; scheduling arrival and departures; and making travel arrangements.
* Tracks and maintains regional maintenance crew schedule for current and future assignments.
* Tracks, documents, and processes regional maintenance crew timesheets and travel.
* Maintains records and inventories of materials, supplies, equipment, and regional crew completed assignments; and informs the Maintenance Regional Branch Manager and other department personnel of status.
* Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High School Grad or Equivalent in general education.
Experience:
3 years of experience in administrative support, clerical, or related experience. (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent). College education and/or relevant technical training may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.

Valid driver’s license. This position requires driving a state vehicle.
