We’re looking for a Floor Manager to join our iconic team at The Aubrey.
The Aubrey is a Japanese Izakaya & Bar concept with 132 covers and a private dining room serving brunch, dinner and late-night drinks. Our menu features classic dishes from Japanese cuisine, in interpretations that adapt and change with the seasons.
The restaurant has been created as a partnership between Maximal Concepts and Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. Maximal Concepts is a Hong Kong-based company that has since expanded to locations including Singapore, Las Vegas and Vancouver.
As a Floor Manager at The Aubrey, you will be responsible for:
1. Become an expert on the menu and have a passion for Food & Beverage and service.
2. Build up rapport with guests and deliver an unforgettable and enchanting experience for our guests
3. Ensure all orders, issuing of bills and payments are taken correctly
4. Coordinating the service of food and beverages together with the Restaurant Manager efficiently and accurately.
5. Responding proactively to guest queries, ensuring that appropriate action is taken in the absence of the manager/assistant, followed by effective communication.
As a Floor Manager, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary but are mainly brunch, evening or late-night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
To be a successful Floor Manager candidate, you will ideally have previous Floor Manager experience in a high standard and fast paced hospitality establishment. You are passionate about food & beverage and providing the best experience to guests and colleagues.
