Job Title: Engineering Project Manager

Pure is a leading micromobility company. We have developed a range of innovative e-scooter products that we currently sell in numerous global markets. We believe in micromobility as a solution to congestion and pollution from transport in cities and are constantly developing solutions to these problems.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Engineering Project Manager to lead the project planning and co-ordination of our E-scooter projects. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
You will report to the Head of Product as part of the research, design and development team, but will also work closely with the other pure stakeholder teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and accountability at every stage of the project lifecycle
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed project plans.
* Define project deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Manage the project deliverables and assign deliverables to key stakeholders across the business
* Assist the Head of Product with end-to-end management of engineering projects from initiation to closure
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design Engineering, Quality, Marketing, Operations and Commercial
* Monitor and control project execution to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
* Manage and ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
* Report regularly to senior leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies
* Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and post-project reviews
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
* 3+ years of experience in engineering project management
* Strong understanding of engineering processes and project lifecycle management
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in hardware companies
* Experience working in consumer electronics with Asian manufacturing
* Strong financial acumen and experience with project budgeting and cost control
