We’re looking for an experienced Transport Administrator to join the night shift team at a busy logistics hub based in the East Midlands Gateway (DE74), near Castle Donington. You’ll support the transport managers and planners to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations throughout the depot.
Hours:
Static Nights, 18:00–06:00 following a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
Pay:
£26,666 basic + 15% shift allowance
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare delivery and collection paperwork
2. De-brief drivers and process return paperwork accurately
3. Produce reports for management and customers
4. Check driver timesheets, mileage logs, and tachograph data
5. Handle high-volume data entry, filing, and general admin
6. Support the wider transport team with ad hoc duties
About You:
7. Experience in a 3PL or transport office (essential)
8. Strong IT and spreadsheet skills
9. Highly organised and able to manage workload independently
10. Basic knowledge of transport legislation (driver hours, vehicle compliance) advantageous
11. Fluent in written and spoken English
12. Comfortable working permanent nights on a 4 on / 4 off pattern
13. Able to commute to East Midlands Gateway (DE74) for required shift times
Please note: This role is fully on-site due to operational requirements. Initially offered on a temporary basis, with a permanent contract available after the qualifying period.
