Job Description:
The Department of Education at the University of Oxford is seeking to appoint a Postgraduate Taught Courses Coordinator. This role reports to the Academic Programmes Manager and involves managing administrative support for postgraduate taught programmes, leading the PGT team within the academic administration team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Graduate Studies, MSc course directors, and pathway leaders to oversee student-related activities and initiatives. A thorough understanding of the University’s graduate policies, processes, and regulations is essential to provide guidance on graduate admissions and administration.
Responsibilities include supporting administrative aspects for a smaller PGT course (approximately 20 students per year), such as preparing and distributing course materials, coordinating disability support, organizing timetables, and managing practical arrangements for teaching, especially during residential periods.
Applicants should have a degree or equivalent qualification, proven experience in student-facing academic administration, and sound knowledge of the higher education sector.
