These are temporary roles available on a short-term and long-term basis, ideal for individuals with a strong science background who are passionate about supporting science education in schools.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, set up, and maintain science equipment and materials for practical lessons.

Assist teachers and students during experiments across biology, chemistry, and physics.
*
Ensure health & safety procedures are followed in the lab.
*
Organise and maintain lab stock, resources, and chemicals.
*
Support general laboratory upkeep and administration.
Candidate Requirements:
*
Minimum of GCSE and A-Level qualifications in Science (Essential).
*
A science-related degree (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics) is preferred but not essential.
*
Previous experience as a lab technician in a school or education setting is desirable.
*
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
*
Must hold or be willing to apply for a valid Enhanced DBS check.
