What this role is about
We build world-class careers sites and intranets for clients across industries. Our Product Team is made up of Product Designers, Developers, and Product Operations specialists, working as a highly collaborative, agile team. We’re looking for an experienced mid to senior-level UX/UI Designer to join us on a 3-month contract in our London office. The role will support our Product Design Team to audit and design career sites for a series of upcoming global projects.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive UX audits to assess user behaviour, identify usability issues, and evaluate the effectiveness of client websites.
* Translate insights into tangible design outputs, including sitemaps and high-fidelity wireframes.
* Own the end-to-end UI design process from concept to delivery and iteration, ensuring outputs fit the client’s branding and brief and meet high standards.
* Present design concepts and research findings to internal teams and clients, articulating design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Collaborate closely with the Product Design Team, driving creative solutions and establishing scalable visual systems.
* Review implemented work against designs and provide feedback to Product Developers to ensure alignment with design quality.
* Champion accessibility and inclusivity in every aspect of design, exceeding compliance standards.
What we’re looking for
As a UX/UI Product Designer, you’ll bring 4+ years of experience designing digital products and websites, with a strong grasp of UX methodologies and UI design principles, and the ability to lead projects. You should have a strong portfolio with high-quality design solutions and the ability to deliver pitch-ready designs for global brands.
Key capabilities include UI design, UX design, collaboration and communication, problem-solving and delivery, and a growth mindset.
Specific skills and experience
* UI Design: Proficiency in Figma; knowledge of typography, colour theory, grid systems; ability to design across devices; motion and interactive design; accessibility (WCAG).
* UX Design: Synthesize research into personas, reports, user flows; develop sitemaps and wireframes; analyze metrics to improve usability.
* Collaboration & Communication: Work with cross-functional teams; present to stakeholders; incorporate feedback; communicate timelines and blockers.
* Problem-Solving & Delivery: Identify UX challenges and propose scalable solutions; balance user needs with business and technical constraints; manage multiple workstreams in an agile environment; maintain design systems and naming conventions.
* Growth Mindset: Stay up-to-date with industry trends; maintain a portfolio showing end-to-end design process and impact.
Bonus points
* Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud apps for visual and motion design.
* Experience with usability testing and concept validation with users.
* Experience with Trello, Jira, Asana; client workshops and sessions; client management experience.
