Role Overview
We are seeking a full‑time, on‑site Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Southport. The Pharmacy Technician will support the delivery of pharmaceutical services by preparing and dispensing medications, reviewing medication orders, managing inventory, and assisting in administrative tasks. The role also includes collaborating with healthcare professionals to support efficient medication management within the practice and providing patients with advice on prescriptions, dosage, and usage. Maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations is a key aspect of this position.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory management
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards
* Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear advice to patients and collaborate with healthcare teams
* Attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing prescriptions and maintaining records
* Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and pharmacy‑related software is an advantage
* Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
* Certification or qualification as a Pharmacy Technician is required
