Wood Digital Consulting (DC) is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer ideally with experience in Automation and Control to support one of our UK projects.
This is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in the UK, with mobility and travel to customer sites, as well as face-to-face meetings with colleagues, expected. This position can either be staff or contract.
Applicants must be able to pass the HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.
The Project Engineer will be responsible for the successful delivery of the control and safety systems (ICSS) scope. The role will support the Senior Project Engineer in the day-to-day administration and delivery of projects, in accordance with Wood Quality Management Systems.
* ISCED Level 6 Bachelor’s (minimum) degree or Level 7 Masters (preferred) in an engineering discipline
* Professional Engineer or engineering chartership preferred
* Able to drive project area to completion, taking ownership for all that occurs within it
* Actively looks to develop skills; monitors work done by others and provides positive feedback
* Able to adapt to changing priorities
* Strong planning, organising and execution skills
* Works effectively as a member of a team
