As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for innovating and driving new quality initiatives, establishing new test frameworks and processes for testing new devices and OS, finding ways to leverage and scale to deliver without compromising quality and efficiency, establishing quality metrics and best practices for the team. You will lead by example as a quality leader who is customer obsessed, thinks big, and delivers results without compromising quality. You will have access to advanced tools and are expected to bring new ideas and innovations to build or leverage as needed. You will look to the future to identify testing needs for experiences not yet conceived. Collaboration with the team, owning, and driving the quality of new products and software releases are key responsibilities.
Key job responsibilities
1. Be the SPOC for a particular component
2. Own the Test Automation journey
3. Push code to mainline
4. Handle weekly releases
5. Scrub Jiras, define QA processes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
* Experience in manual testing
* Experience in automation testing
* Experience scripting or coding
* Experience as QA lead on medium to large-sized projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with automated test frameworks like Selenium or Appium
* Experience in gathering test requirements, creating detailed test plans, and defining quality metrics
