Key Responsibilities:
1. Manufacture, build, repair, and maintain mould tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges used in the production of gas turbine components.
2. Operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment, to produce parts with high precision.
3. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to plan and execute projects.
4. Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of tools and dies.
5. Ensure all tools meet quality standards and are in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
6. Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve tooling issues and make improvements to enhance production efficiency.
7. Conduct tests on newly built or repaired tools to ensure they meet performance and quality standards.
8. Maintain accurate records of tool usage, repairs, and maintenance activities.
