Your Role
* You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the department and ADSL management, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
* You will act as the first point of contact and help desk for G2 related enquiries, providing clear and professional guidance.
* You will maintain and update records, databases, registers and spreadsheets to ensure accuracy, security and compliance.
* You will produce correspondence and documentation in line with company and defence writing and information management standards.
* You will coordinate notifications, movement logs and administrative arrangements relating to arms, ammunition and public military events.
* You are responsible for maintaining protectively marked material registers, security keys and supporting annual security self‑assessments.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications: You will have 3 GCSEs (or equivalent), an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Office Administration, and intermediate level experience of Microsoft Office packages.
Experience: It is essential to have previous experience in an administration role, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills are needed, as well as communication skills (both verbal and written). It is also beneficial to have a good level of literacy and IT skills, with the ability to be highly organised, and offer an ethical and professional approach.
