We are recruiting for an Administration Clerk to join our Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC) in the heart of Oxfordshire.
About the Role
Our Administration Clerks provide a friendly, professional, and informative service to all patients who use the CDC. As their first point of contact, you will ensure that all patient needs are attended to, whether on the telephone while arranging appointments or onsite welcoming patients in person. You will go above and beyond in sensitive situations and manage all scenarios in a sensitive and polite manner.
Your duties will include:
* Entering patient details on the EPR system as per procedures and ensuring all referrals are clinically triaged (Cerner)
* Answering calls, addressing queries and concerns with ease
* Ensuring patients are given appointment dates and that appropriate actions are taken following cancellations by patients or the CDC
* Liaising with clinicians, nursing staff, managers, and administration
* Covering reception duties
About You
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Whether you have experience in high-end hospitality, have recently finished studying, or are seeking a move into administration, you must be compassionate and understanding. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a flexible approach to work.
Successful candidates will have:
* Demonstrable experience in customer service, administration, or similar
* Competent IT skills
* Flexibility to cover team member absences and work shift rotas, including weekends
* Immaculate attention to detail
* Confidence in dealing with the general public face-to-face and over the telephone
Hours: This is a part-time role of 22.5 hours per week, supporting shifts between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm, 7 days a week. Unsociable hours (weekends and bank holidays) will be paid at an additional rate. You will also be required to cover reception duties.
