Do you want an opportunity to 'give back' to the local community using your excellent face-to-face customer service and administration skills?
We are recruiting for an Administration Clerk to join our Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC) in the heart of Oxfordshire.
About The Role
Our Administration Clerks provide a friendly, professional, and informative service to all patients who use the CDC. As their first point of contact, you will ensure that all patient needs are attended to, whether on the telephone while arranging appointments or onsite welcoming them in person. You should be comfortable managing sensitive situations in a polite and empathetic manner, going above and beyond when necessary.
Your duties will include:
* Entering patient details into the EPR system according to procedures and ensuring all referrals are clinically triaged (Cerner).
* Answering calls, addressing queries and concerns with ease.
* Ensuring patients receive appointment dates and that appropriate actions are taken following cancellations by patients or CDC.
* Liaising with clinicians, nursing staff, managers, and administration.
* Covering reception as needed.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Whether you have experience in high-end hospitality, have recently finished studying, or are seeking a move into administration, you should be compassionate and understanding. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a flexible approach to work are essential.
Successful candidates will have:
* Demonstrable experience in customer service, administration, or similar roles.
* Competent IT skills.
* Flexibility to cover team member absences and work shift rotas, including weekends.
* Immaculate attention to detail.
* Confidence in dealing with the general public face-to-face and over the telephone.
Hours: This is a part-time role, 22.5 hours per week, with shifts between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm, seven days a week. Unsociable hours (weekends and bank holidays) will be paid at an additional rate. You will also be required to cover reception shifts.
