Passionate about sports and work in sales? Here is an opportunity to merge two passions into your day-to-day job as a Sales Lead Generator.
We’re working with a fast-growing sports advertising agency redefining how brands bridge into fan culture via campaigns, content, and activations. We need a driven Lead Generator to fill our pipeline with high-quality brand leads and raise the overall profile of the agency.
Working within the sports industry they represent sporting clubs across the UK including football, rugby, cricket, and other specialist teams.
As a Lead Generator your responsibilities will include.
1. Research and identify potential (clients) brands that are appropriate to campaign opportunities using events, networks, LinkedIn, industry databases, and targeted searches.
2. Execute high-volume outbound outreach: cold calls, personalised LinkedIn messages, and email campaigns to marketing directors and decision-makers.
3. Qualify leads and book calls/meetings for the sales team.
4. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, tracking interactions.
5. Meet weekly and monthly targets for qualified leads and appointments booked.
6. Follow up and nurture early-stage prospects with relevant insights and developments.
7. Upsell, cross sell and reengage brands where the mutual value is appropriate
8. Maintain a client CRM for constant contact
9. Stay on top of UK and global sports & advertising trends to spot new opportunities.
Requirements
10. Charismatic, natural storyteller with passion in abundance.
11. Proven experience in outbound lead generation, sales development, cold calling, or telesales.
12. Culturally aware with a strong understanding of social media and how it contributes to driving fan engagement
13. Naturally creative with excellent verbal and written communication, confident on the phone and crafting personalised messages.
14. Profound interest in sales techniques and process, continuously refining and improving your own style.
15. Strong proficiency with LinkedIn (Sales Navigator ideal), CRM systems, and email outreach tools.
16. Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven, you thrive on hitting numbers and learn from every “no”.
17. Genuine passion for sport and understanding of the UK sports landscape.
18. Experience or interest in advertising, sponsorship, or digital marketing.
