Job Purpose
To safely and efficiently deliver Thamesmead’s cleaning, hygiene, and associated products to customers across London and the South East, providing a reliable, professional, and friendly service at every delivery point.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out multi-drop deliveries to a range of customer sites including hotels, offices, FM clients, and commercial premises
* Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring goods are handled with care
* Plan delivery routes effectively to meet schedules and minimise delays
* Complete delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery accurately
* Maintain a high standard of customer service, acting as a positive ambassador for Thamesmead
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
* Ensure all deliveries comply with health & safety, manual handling, and road traffic regulations
* Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy at all times
* Communicate effectively with the office regarding delays, issues, or customer feedback
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Full UK driving licence (clean or with minimal points)
* Experience in a multi-drop delivery role in London
* Good knowledge of London and South East road networks
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
Desirable
* Experience delivering to commercial or hospitality customers
* License with 7.5-tonne vehicles
* Basic use of handheld delivery devices or apps
