This position can be based at our headquarters in Manchester, UK or Dubai, UAE.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Research, develop and create moodboards, colour palettes and fabric stories for upcoming collections.</li><li>Source and develop new fabrications, techniques and trimmings, applying expert understanding across all fabric bases and garment constructions.</li><li>Design across multi-product categories, identifying key shapes for the season and key product opportunities.</li><li>Present your work in sign offs/meetings to Managers & CEO.</li><li>Create technical packs for your designs including information on construction, measurements, fabrication & trimmings.</li><li>Work closely with the Garment Tech team and Pattern Cutters during the design development stage to ensure optimum execution of first samples.</li><li>Attend fit sessions to ensure designs are executed according to the techpack and to the Club L London standards.</li><li>Manage all sample queries from suppliers during sample development stage.</li><li>Plan and work closely with in-house Merch teams, collaborating to create fresh product and collections in line with key trading periods.</li><li>Involvement in Trade, Critical Path and Process meetings etc.</li><li>Build key relationships with existing and new suppliers.</li><li>Partake in sourcing trips and inspiration trips nationally and overseas.</li></ul><h3>More About You</h3><ul><li>At least 5 years experience, preferably within slow-fashion/luxury environment</li><li>Multi-product ladieswear experience and/or focus on dresses/occasionwear</li><li>Specialities (e.g. tailoring, swimwear, curve/petite, embroidery/embellishment etc) are also encouraged</li><li>Understanding of the brands handwriting and ability to adapt design skills to this</li><li>Good technical experience for creating techpacks</li><li>Sound understanding of design software (e.g. Adobe platforms)</li><li>Able to demonstrate Club Ls key values: collaboration, creativity and confidence</li></ul><h3>Whats on offer?</h3><ul><li>Bi-annual bonus scheme</li><li>25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays)</li><li>Extra day off for your birthday</li><li>Flexible working hours around core hours of 10-4</li><li>Cycle to work scheme40% staff discount across Club L and Lavish Alice products</li><li>Healthcare Cashplan</li><li>Free onsite gym</li><li>Enhanced pension contribution</li><li>Enhanced maternity and sick pay</li><li>Free snacks, drinks & treats</li><li>Social events</li></ul></div>
