Specialist Nurse - Cardiology The Park Hospital 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £56,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) The Park Hospital in Nottingham is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Specialist Nurse to join their team of staff in the Cardiac Catheterisation department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: Deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based care within your area of specialism, acting as a clinical expert and role model. Support assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of patients with complex or long-term conditions. Provide education, support, and counselling to patients and families, empowering them to understand and manage their health conditions. Work collaboratively with consultants, GPs, allied health professionals, and other nursing colleagues to support integrated, patient-centred care. Act as a resource for education and clinical development within your specialty. Lead or support audits, patient feedback initiatives, and quality improvement programmes related to your specialist area. Applicants should meet the following criteria: Registered Nurse (Adult, Child, or Mental Health, depending on specialty) with valid NMC registration. Significant post-registration experience in the relevant specialty area. Demonstrable specialist knowledge and advanced clinical skills within a defined field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Must have extensive knowledge and specialism in inpatient and outpatient cardiology. Full competency in Invasive Cardiology Procedures.
