Job Description
Our client, Brent Council, is seeking an agency Social Worker for its Children and Young People’s service.
This role will last 3 months initially, paid in line with London/DFE pay rates.

The role will involve the following:
* Working with children and young people with disabilities
* Assessments of need
* Child in Need
* Child Protection
* Children in care
* Provision and review of care packages and short breaks
* Multi-disciplinary team working
* Hybrid working
Requirements of the role:
* Qualified Social Worker
* Fully Social Work England registered
* 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
* Significant post-qualified experience of children’s social care social work
* Experience of working with children with disabilities
