Job Opportunity: Operations Support Assistant
The primary objective of this key role is to provide essential support to ensure EHAAT maintains an efficient aviation and operational service. This will be accomplished by collaborating closely with the Operations Manager and the aviation team to support ground operations, staff, and resources.
These positions will be based at one of our airbases – North Weald and Earls Colne, Colchester – and will require regular travel between these locations. This new role is crucial in supporting the aviation team to achieve the charity’s Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
Summary of duties and responsibilities:
Compliance Management
* Assist the Operations Manager in ensuring compliance with all aviation and operations-related regulations, legal requirements, and statutory responsibilities, including fuel installations, equipment records, and health & safety.
* Support the pilot team in adhering to both EHAAT and supporting organisations operating procedures.
* Conduct safety audits, such as fuel quality checks, and report findings to the Operations Manager.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
