Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) / Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP)

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support a well-established GP Surgery in Nottingham. This opportunity is available on a temporary/locum, temp-to-perm, or permanent basis, depending on candidate preference and suitability.
Working Pattern
Ideally Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays (1 - 3 days per week)
8:00am – 6:30pm
Some flexibility may be considered
Pay / Salary
Locum: £45 LTD per hour or £39 PAYE Inclusive per hour
Permanent: Salary dependent on experience
Role Overview The successful candidate will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary primary care team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients across all age groups. The role requires confident clinical decision-making and the ability to independently assess, diagnose, treat and manage a range of acute and chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake comprehensive patient assessments including history taking, clinical examination, diagnosis and treatment planning
Independently manage minor illness presentations and undifferentiated conditions
Prescribe safely and effectively in line with independent prescribing qualification
Request, interpret and act upon diagnostic tests and investigations
Support the management of long-term conditions including asthma, COPD, diabetes and hypertension
Provide health promotion and preventative care advice
Refer patients appropriately to secondary care or community services
Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using SystmOne
Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team
Contribute to clinical governance, audit and quality improvement initiatives
Essential Requirements
Qualified ANP or ACP, with Full Level 7 Master’s qualification
Independent Prescribing qualification (V300)
Experience working within Primary Care / GP Surgery
Proficiency in SystmOne
Ability to work autonomously and manage clinical risk effectively
