Job Description
Do you want to play a role in making East Sussex a great place to live, work and visit? You will support our outstanding cultural and tourism sectors, from the internationally renowned Towner Gallery and Turner Prize shortlisted Project Art Works, to award winning hotels, wine estates, unique glamping experiences and stunning coastline and countryside.
You will make a real difference, helping to develop, co-ordinate and implement a range of cultural and tourism related initiatives in East Sussex. As part of a small team you will be involved in decision making, project design and strategic planning. You will work closely with senior cultural and business professionals, a great opportunity for you to increase your professional networks. You will provide project support to Culture East Sussex, Experience Sussex, East Sussex Arts Partnership and a range of strategic projects. You will plan meetings, shape project plans and manage stakeholders.
We Are Looking For Someone With
* an active interest and working knowledge of the issues, barriers and opportunities facing the cultural and tourism sectors
* the ability to organise, manage and effectively prioritise a diverse workload
* the ability to work on your own initiative
* excellent written and verbal communication skills
* expert user of common ICT applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
