Look no further What the role has to offer: Opportunity to work on a variety of platforms and tools Excellent prospects to develop as well as pursue career progression A technical, autonomous role, trusted to make impactful decisions The Role As a Software Developer you will be based onsite in our Fareham office developing and validate personalization solutions to deliver to Thales personalization centres and customers. You will manage software development projects tasks to ensure on-time deliveries and quality of project deliverables. You will fulfil an integral role as part of the software team, key duties will include: • Analysis of customer requirements and specification. • Design, development, validation and integration of solutions. Document creation and updates. Application reworking during the life cycle of perso projects. • Support TC/PM to define the most optimized and efficient way to fit customer requirements. • Support Manufacturing on application deployment, testing activities and related operational issues. • Provide 2nd and 3rd tier support for BAU system issues across two sites. • Integration of deliveries from the corporate Order Engineering Team. • Write automation tasks (RPA). • Provide occasional weekend support for migration projects. • Follow priorities and objectives defined by the UK Software Development Manager. • Follow the global Personalisation Software Development Process. • Highlight and implement continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures • Report potential risks and all other problems related to projects to the UK Software Development Manager. • The employee is responsible for complying with rules, regulations and procedures valid in the company, including workplace regulations, Health and Safety and Anti Fire regulations, general security rules and environment protection rules. About You We would welcome interest from Software Developers with experience in any of Java, Java Script, Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB, SQL or Python. The role will require you to work autonomously so you will need to be self-organised as well as be able to communicate with the wider teams on your progress.
