Finance Assistant

Permanent (Term Time Only) - 30 hours per week

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support a busy Finance/Business team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop their financial administration skills and contribute to a meaningful cause.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process orders, receipts, invoices, and reconcile financial records.
* Maintain accurate accounts and liaise with suppliers and contractors.
* Support VAT returns.
* Manage petty cash and ensure cost-effective financial processes.
* Provide general financial administrative support and guidance to staff.
* Handle financial queries from suppliers and stakeholders.
* Assist with filing and maintaining electronic records.
* Contribute to the improvement of financial systems and processes.
* Cover reception and perform general office duties as required.
