PA for 15 year old girl 4 hrs PW term time + 6 school Holidays- LS8 Roundhay
A Personal Assistant (PA) is required to support my autistic daughter. I am looking for a reliable and supportive caregiver who can provide one‑to‑one support while the family is away, encouraging her to develop social skills, road safety awareness and community involvement. The PA will assist with daily activities, promote independence and help maintain a safe environment.
General Responsibilities
* Provide one‑to‑one support at home and in the wider community
* Support development of health and safety awareness
* Support development of road safety awareness
* Help access activities in the community
* Support at home and with creative activities
* Assist with social and leisure activities in the community
* Help develop skills with money handling and payments
* Assist with access to public transport
Main Duties
* Encourage and support hobbies and interests, such as dance and singing
* Accompany to social events such as the cinema
* Support emotional regulation when the girl feels overwhelmed
These duties may vary from day to day.

* Has experience working with autistic people and understands autism

Hours of Work
The rate of pay is currently £12.40 per hour, 4 hours per week during term time and 10 hours per week during school holidays. Hours can be used flexibly over evenings, weekends, and school holidays.

* Experience working with young people
* Experience working in the community without direct supervision
* Experience working with autistic children
* Understanding of autism
* Good listening skills
* Driving licence
