About the Opportunity
Our client is a innovative, fast-scaling healthcare communications agency with global backing and a growing presence across Europe who are currently delivering high-impact, project-based work for several major pharmaceutical clients, and theyâre just getting started.
With over $25M in committed scope over the next six months and operations underway in both the US and EU, theyâre looking for a VP or SVP of Project Management & Operations to join their European leadership team and help build the foundation for long-term success.
This is a pivotal leadership role with the potential to grow into a COO position as the agency continues to expand.
The Role
As VP/SVP of Project Management & Operations, youâll lead their European project management function, ensuring excellence in delivery across all client projects â including sales aids, websites, emails, and other digital and print assets for healthcare professionals.
Youâll also play a key role in shaping operational infrastructure, processes, and team development across multiple European markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Project Management team across Europe (initially 3 direct reports)
* Build scalable delivery and operations frameworks from the ground up
* Ensure high-quality execution across a range of project types and therapy areas
* Collaborate closely with client services, creative, strategy, and global leadership
* Oversee project resourcing, timelines, budgets, and reporting
* Contribute to the agencyâs European growth strategy, including expansion into new markets
* Implement and monitor performance metrics to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
* Foster a high-performance, solutions-oriented culture
What theyâre Looking For
* 15+ years of experience in project management, operations, or delivery within healthcare advertising or related sectors
* Proven leadership experience in agency or consultancy environments
* Strong operational mindset with a balance of strategic and hands-on execution skills
* Experience managing cross-functional teams across markets
* Knowledge of pharma or life sciences marketing best practices
* Based in London or surrounding areas, with the ability to travel occasionally
* Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and excited about building something new
