Job Purpose / Primary Objective
Reporting into the Installation Director, the primary objective of the Project Manager is to plan and coordinate projects for the installation of renewables and solar PV panels from inception to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
1. Carrying out planning in accordance with client needs, including setting goals and objectives, defining roles, and producing schedules and timelines.
2. Leading and motivating the project team from both internal and external stakeholder organizations.
3. Managing the project, coordinating the team to stay on track and on budget.
4. Identifying and managing risks to ensure timely delivery and implementing necessary changes.
5. Reporting regularly to management and the client.
6. Delivering quality service, ensuring performance standards, contractual KPIs, and SLAs are met.
7. Ensuring all health and safety policies are followed at all times.

To be effective, the Solar Project Manager should:
* Maintain good working relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and senior management.
* Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
* Communicate effectively with all departments.
Person Specification
To succeed, the Solar Project Manager will have:
* Experience managing ground mount and rooftop solar installation projects.
* Previous management experience on mechanical and electrical projects.
* Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines.
* Initiative and decision-making skills under pressure.
* Ability to manage organizational change and deliver results.
* Budget monitoring and control skills.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
* A full, clean UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
* Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
