Job Description
We are supporting a large organisation in South Wales who are undergoing a finance transformation programme, implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).They are looking for an Interim D365 Systems Accountant to bridge the gap between Finance and Technology - helping design, test, and deliver an effective finance solution.Key Responsibilities
3. Act as the Systems Accountant on the D365 F&O implementation
4. Support the design of finance processes within the system
5. Work closely with the implementation partner / 3rd party provider
6. Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Project teams
7. Ensure the system meets finance requirements and best practice
8. Support system testing (SIT/UAT) and issue resolution
9. Create and review process and system documentation
10. Provide input into continuous improvement and optimisation
The Successful Applicant
Key Requirements
11. Strong background in finance (e.g. Systems Accountant, Finance Manager, Analyst)
12. Proven experience working with D365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
13. Experience supporting or delivering finance system implementations
14. Strong understanding of finance processes (P2P, R2R, O2C, etc.)
15. Experience with Project Accounting within D365 F&O
16. Ability to liaise with both technical teams and finance stakeholders
Desirable
17. Experience in finance transformation programmes
18. Experience working with 3rd party system integrators
19. Background in large or complex organisations
