At Targeted Provision, we are on a mission to revolutionize education for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND). We support a diverse range of learners, including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

Your Role as a SEN/SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
* Support learners referred by local authorities and schools, helping them navigate their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to each student’s unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging tutoring sessions that cater to the individual needs of each student.
* Create holistic learning experiences that promote both educational and social-emotional growth.
* Document lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications: Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
*
Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, particularly with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs.
*
Safeguarding Knowledge: Understanding of safeguarding processes is essential.
*
DBS Check: Enhanced DBS required (we can assist with this).
*
References: Two professional references needed.
*
Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.
It’s crucial that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This role involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No guaranteed work hours or expense coverage is provided.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
