Overview
We are supporting a well-established financial planning firm seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their team. This is a key technical role supporting advisers with high-quality research, analysis and report writing.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical research across pensions, investments and protection
* Cashflow modelling and scenario analysis
* Preparing suitability reports, recommendations and supporting documentation
* Liaising with providers and internal teams to gather information
* Ensuring all advice meets compliance and regulatory standards
* Supporting advisers with preparation for client meetings
* Contributing to process improvements within a small, collaborative team
Experience & Qualifications
* Experience in a paraplanning role is essential
* Ideally Diploma qualified (Level 4)
* Part-qualified candidates considered with minimum two exams passed (three preferred)
* Strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments
* High attention to detail and confident working independently
Salary & Package
* Up to £37,000–£40,000 for more technical or experienced hires
* Exam support including:
o Study materials and first exam paid
o Two days’ study leave per exam (first sitting)
o £500 salary increase per exam passed
* 4x death in service (after six months)
* Westfield Health (after one year)
* 5% employer pension contribution
* Holiday progression: additional days after three years, up to +5 days after eight years
