Temporary Events Assistant - Glasgow (West)
Dates: Tuesday 11th March - Sunday 16th March
Office Angels Glasgow are recruiting Temporary Events Assistants for a major sporting event taking place in Glasgow.
Due to the scale of this recruitment, we can only consider applicants who are able to commit to a minimum of two shifts.
Before applying, please ensure you have suitable transport arrangements for the start and finish times listed below.
We received excellent feedback from candidates who worked last year's event. Please note, however, that this role involves being on your feet for the full duration of the shift.
No previous experience is required, though experience in Customer Service, Retail, Sales, Promotions, Events, or any similar customerfacing role would be advantageous.
Duties
1. Welcoming and greeting attendees
2. Managing the checkin process and registering visitor details
3. Following strict health and safety procedures
4. Directing guests to food and drink stations, toilets, and other facilities
5. Answering general queries as needed
Our Ideal Candidate
6. Experience in a frontfacing role
7. Customerfocused with a positive attitude
8. Confident using technology (e.g., iPads for checkin)
9. Wellpresented and professional
10. Clear and effective communicator
