Base Salary: £38,000-£45,000

Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventive and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repair across a large-scale automated plant.
Diagnose and repair electrical and control system faults to minimise downtime.
Support commissioning, upgrades, and plant improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards (BS7671, PUWER, DSEAR, ATEX).
Collaborate with production and mechanical teams to optimise reliability and plant performance.
About You
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
Experience in industrial, process, or manufacturing environments such as chemicals, energy, utilities, metals, food, or heavy engineering.
Skilled in fault finding, electrical diagnostics, and control systems (PLCs, MCCs, drives, inverters).
Strong UK statutory safety awareness and comfortable working autonomously on rotating 12-hour shifts.
Hold UK right to work, including dependent visa holders already working within UK industry. UK electrical engineering work experience essential.
