Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality drama lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Direct and produce school plays, performances, and extracurricular drama activities
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and attainment
* Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity and confidence
* Maintain strong classroom management and ensure a safe learning space
Requirements
* Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, Performing Arts, or a related field
* Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent)
* Strong subject knowledge and practical experience in drama and theatre
* Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable Skills
* Experience directing school productions or theatre projects
* Ability to contribute to wider school activities and clubs
* Passion for student development and the performing arts
