Apprentice Dental Nurse
Damira Dental Studios, established in 2003, currently operates 33 dental practices across the UK. We provide a comprehensive range of treatments through the NHS and private care.
Overview
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our team. With experience and further training, you may progress to roles such as team manager, team leader, dental practice manager, dental therapist, dental hygienist, or orthodontic therapist.
Responsibilities
* Provide efficient and reliable chair‑side support to practice clinicians.
* Assist with reception duties: answering telephone, greeting patients.
* Handle patient queries, payments and appointment bookings.
* Sterilise and prepare equipment for dentists.
* Record and manage patient records.
* Support patients’ well‑being and overall dental experience.
* Maintain cleanliness of dental areas, including chairs.
* Manage stock of equipment and supplies.
Qualifications and Training
* Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship accredited by City & Guilds.
* Completion delivers a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 approved by the General Dental Council.
* Functional Skills in English and Maths level 2 unless already exempt.
Working Hours
Monday & Tuesday, 08:45‑17:30 / 19:45
Wednesday & Friday, 08:45‑17:30.
