We're seeking a talented and motivated
Process Control Senior Technician

What you'll do:
* Providing specialist engineering support to the manufacturing production lines, which include – Containerboard and Tissue Paper Machines, Gas and Biofuel CHP and Biogas Effluent treatment plant and other control-based site systems.
* For the paper machines, you will be working with DCS, QCS, WIS, WMS, condition monitoring, roll handling and warehouse systems.
* Supporting all site control systems, including Valmet DNA and Siemens PCS7.
* Provide diagnostic support and competent fault-finding capabilities across a range of specialist software and associated systems hardware.
* Completion of regular preventative maintenance routines, scheduled maintenance tasks and the repair of critical and non-critical spare parts.
* Responding to breakdowns and corrective action that involve process control systems.
* Being part of an on-call rota providing support to the site out of hours.
* Using and developing your technical training to be involved in root cause investigations, identify solutions to problems and implement solutions.
* Commissioning support for major projects and small improvement works.
* Writing/maintaining onsite procedures and risk assessments.
* Maintaining and updating electrical and instrumentation documentation.
What you'll bring:
* You will have completed a 4+ year Apprenticeship scheme and educated to HNC level or above in Electrical/ Electronic/ Instrumentation or equivalent. You will be fluent in English both in speaking and writing.
* Previous experience of working with control systems in a manufacturing environment.
* Being a Self-starter and hard working with the ability to work as a team player and grow with the Business
* Ability to work in a changing environment with a flexible approach.
* Good knowledge and understanding of health and safety
