Job Opportunity: Business Lead - East of England
Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end-of-life charity, providing community nursing and hospice care across all four nations, along with information and support on dying, death, and bereavement. We are seeking a part-time Business Lead (17 hours per week) to join our East of England team. This role involves working both remotely and in the field within the region and is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our evolving approach to end-of-life care, emphasizing community needs, resources, and strategic partnerships.
Reporting to a Business Manager, you will provide commercial expertise to support the innovation and development of new services, including market intelligence, proposal development, and lifecycle contract management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop market intelligence, pipeline prospects, and support knowledge management to facilitate growth.
* Manage proposal development, ensuring quality assurance and timely submission.
* Prepare and execute contracts for services, coordinate across the organization, and ensure alignment of contractual and financial aspects.
* Collaborate with mobilization teams to ensure successful service implementation.
* Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies in partnership with stakeholders.
