Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for aSort Line Operativeto join our successful client based inLeatherhead, KT22 area.Our client is one of the leading private waste management companies and passionate about recycling and protecting the environment.
Shift Patterns: Mon-Fri 7:15am-17:00pm
Overtime is available for hours worked after 45hrs at 1.5 basic
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Previous experience within a waste industrial environment is essential
* Separating & placing materials for further recycling in the appropriate chute
* Picking at defined rates selective materials from a moving conveyor
* General duties throughout the site
* General housekeeping and cleaning of machines & the operator cabins
* Following designated shift patterns and reporting safety concerns promptly
* Manual handling tasks including lifting and using tools such as brooms and shovels
