Project Overview As part of the continued expansion of UK operations, Lumentum is seeking an experienced in-house recruiter to join their on-site recruitment team in Caswell. This role will be part of a small, dedicated team responsible for talent acquisition across a variety of niche roles. Candidate Requirements Extensive in-house recruitment experience with a focus on permanent hiring. Proficiency in Workday is essential. Strong sourcing and search skills —experience using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter is highly advantageous. A license will be provided. A background in the semiconductor industry is preferred, though a strong engineering recruitment background is also suitable. Ability to manage high-volume recruitment, handling multiple roles simultaneously. Self-motivated, proactive, and independent, with the ability to drive recruitment processes efficiently. Key Responsibilities Proactively source and assess candidates from various channels, ensuring alignment with the company’s business needs and culture. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial search and screening to presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers. Build and maintain strong relationships with key functional leaders and hiring managers to effectively address both immediate and future talent needs. Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to create and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. Advise and support hiring managers, providing market insights and guidance on recruitment strategies, candidate expectations, and skill availability. Ensure a seamless recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers, maintaining clear and effective communication throughout the process.
