About the Role
We’re looking for a Quality Control Team Leader - Packaging to join our Quality function and lead day‑to‑day QC activities across Packaging Components.
In this role, you will oversee, inspection, scheduling and documentation to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards. You will coordinate QC & QCP testing, support audits, and proactively drive improvements in testing processes, documentation, and operational standards.
You will play a key role in ensuring compliance across Finished Product, Packaging and Analytical support areas.
This position includes line management responsibility for a team of Pharmaceutical Packaging Artworkers.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the Artwork team to achieve daily and long-term business goals.
* Oversee progress, workflow, and performance, providing timely feedback and coaching.
* Review and approve analytical data within QC and QCP processes.
* Schedule and prioritise testing activities to meet operational and regulatory needs.
* Ensure adherence to GMP, GLP, H&S and all relevant regulatory standards.
* Drive improvements to MHRA, FDA and internal quality requirements.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working within a pharmaceutical packaging team.
* Strong knowledge of GMP and compliance requirements.
* Proven ability to lead, coach or supervise teams.
* Competence in data review, documentation control, and analytical processes.
* Strong organisation, communication and problem‑solving skills.
* A proactive approach to continuous improvement and regulatory alignment.
