We are keen to find a experienced Accounts Assistant to join a highly renowned public sector organisation to join their accounts team who are responsible for carrying out a wide range of accounting responsibilities covering a regional area.

The benefits

The day to day
1. Core focus will be on Sales Ledger with the scope to be involved in credit control and finance administration.
2. Running daily processes and reports, data entry, VAT, journal preparation and input, month and year end processes.
3. Production of all sales ledger invoices within target timescales and performance targets.
4. Chasing overdue outstanding debts in accordance with debt recovery procedures.
5. Identify and resolve queries arising in respect of the sales ledger and respond by letter, telephone, email or in person.
