Contract type: 9 Month secondment Edmonton site

Edmonton Operations produce 50 million cases of drinks per year across their 7 manufacturing lines. The site can produce up to 142,000 litres of drink per hour consisting of both PET and Glass bottling. They are the only site in GB to produce our Oasis Drinks. There are over 200 people across Manufacturing, QESH, and Engineering, experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Edmonton and further afield across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.
In this role you will:
1. Manage, plan, and execute all Site’s Capital Investments and projects requiring any New Innovation from proposal to completion following guidelines defined by the CCEP Engineering Team.
2. Manage Site’s Utilities to ensure the continuity of all operations.
What to expect:
To be successful in this role you will need to deliver in key areas:
1. Lead by example the Engineering team providing vision, direction, delivering safe, high-quality products on time.
2. Manage legislation standards within projects to ensure they comply with CCEP project management system and the latest legislation.
3. Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure professional growth and development.
4. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, safety, and quality standards.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance to define project requirements and objectives.
6. Prepare a bottom-up Annual Business Plan and manage the budget along the year (Labour, Yields, Maintenance & Repair).
7. Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex engineering issues and challenges.
8. Manage engineering projects to an agreed scope, within cost, schedule, and performance criteria.
9. Arrange supplier agreements for engineering projects through preparing tenders, negotiating contracts and monitoring their performance.
10. Work closely with contractors to adhere to high safety and quality standards.
11. Integrate CRS guidelines into all capital projects.
12. Manage Utilities (and Facilities) suppliers and CCEP labour to improve asset performance at a minimum cost and improve the environmental ratios of the Site.
13. Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the engineering team, encouraging the exploration of new technologies and solutions.
14. Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices in engineering, and incorporate relevant knowledge into project planning and execution.
15. Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
Skills & Essentials:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred. Strong technical background in engineering, utilities and maintenance is highly desired. Demonstrated track record of successfully leading complex engineering projects with a strong focus in Health, Safety & Environment compliance. As well as Quality Management People leadership of an operational unit, within a unionised environment. Proven experience in engineering management, with a minimum of 10 years on similar fields. Track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and to budget. People leadership of the on-site engineering function. Process improvement and Sustainability. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with focus on driving results and achieving objectives. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements. Experience working in FMCG, large business is preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
