A leading international law firm is looking to appoint a Managing Associate to it's London-based Commercial Disputes team, where you will work on complex insurance coverage matters while playing a key role in client relationships and team development.
The Team
The role sits within a large, integrated disputes group, bringing together specialists across commercial litigation, arbitration and financial disputes and fraud. The insurance disputes team is particularly well regarded for its work on behalf of policyholders, advising major corporates on complex coverage issues and large-scale claims.
The Role
You will play a central role in leading complex commercial and insurance disputes, often involving multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders. Alongside managing your own matters, you will work closely with partners on strategic client relationships and business development initiatives.
The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the practice, supporting junior lawyers, driving knowledge-sharing and playing a visible role in though leadership and client engagement. The team places a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation and the use of legal technology to enhance delivery.
Candidate Profile
* England & Wales qualified lawyer with 6+ years' PQE.
* Strong background in commercial litigation, with a clear focus on insurance disputes.
* Experience advising on complex, high-value matters and engaging directly with senior stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop junior lawyers.
* Commercially minded, with an interest in business development and practice growth.
* A collaborative and strategic approach, suited to a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
