Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable 1st Fix Carpenter to join our team on a long-term restoration project involving a Grade-listed building. This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their work and is experienced in sensitive and high-quality carpentry on heritage properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* 1st fix carpentry includingjoisting, roofing, staircases,and associated structural carpentry work
* Working to precise measurements and following design specifications
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while respecting the integrity of the listed structure
* Collaborating with other trades on-site and following health and safety protocols
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in 1st fix carpentry
* Proven experience working on listed or heritage buildings (preferred)
* CSCS Card (Carpentry-specific)
* Own 110v tools
* Fluent English (spoken and written)
* Punctual, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and respect for historic construction methods and materials
Duration:
Ongoing for the next 6 months, with potential for further work upon completion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day

* Barnet EN4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
