Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 8.00 - 16.30
About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Workshop/Bench Engineer to join our team in Mold. This role focuses on repairing, servicing, and maintaining wheelchairs to ensure service users receive reliable, high-quality mobility support.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out repairs, servicing, and maintenance as directed by the Service Centre Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, or Line Manager.
* Complete all associated paperwork accurately and on time.
* Ensure all warranty and scrap returns are correctly labelled and processed daily.
* Adhere to infection control policies at all times.
* Undertake engineering work, including service, repairs, and refurbishments, in accordance with prescription builds.
* Support clinical appointments with healthcare professionals when needed.
* Perform administrative duties as required.
* Ensure all parts used are allocated correctly through the Stores process.
* Maintain compliance with Ross Care’s operational procedures and housekeeping standards.
* Maintain a professional approach — including appearance, tools, and workspace.
* Uphold accountability for all aspects of the role and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
* Participate in stocktakes as required.
* Follow all company policies, procedures, and instructions.
