💧 Engineering Manager – Water Industry (Permanent or Outside IR35 Contract)
My client is a growing engineering design consultancy delivering projects across the UK regulated water sector. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop multi-disciplinary design teams and deliver high-quality, compliant design solutions.
This role is open to both permanent candidates and Outside IR35 contractors.
The Role
* Manage and mentor multi-disciplinary engineers, CAD technicians, and graduates
* Lead the delivery of civil, MEICA, and process design packages
* Ensure designs are safe, compliant, and value-engineered
* Manage integrated design deliverables to programme and budget
* Approve design outputs and manage design change control
* Drive BIM, digital engineering, and design efficiency
About You
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership
* 10+ years’ experience in the regulated water industry
* Strong understanding of civils, MEICA, and process design
* Proven experience managing engineering design teams
* Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
* Full UK driving licence
