We're now looking for a Transport Clerk!
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Working within a fast moving transport operation, you we be part of a team that delivers a great service to our customer on a daily basis
* This role supports the Transport operation by covering these key areas; Driver Briefing and de-briefing, customer contact to report schedule adherance issues, general daily administation, data entry into transport operations system.
* Ensure drivers have the correct paperwork.
* Input data into operational systems to include drivers hours, fuel usage, mileage.
* Liaise with the customer over unexpected changes to the planned delivery schedule and to deal with ad hoc customer queries, primarily by telephone.
* Collate and control tachographs. Download digi cards daily
* Monitor and record time and attendance of drivers.
* Deal with ad hoc driver queries.
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Transport experience would be desirable, however not essential
* Strong communicator, this position would suit someone who may be at the starting point of their career wanting to grow within the role
* IT Literate, with Microsoft Office Packages
