Job Posting: Property Accountant | Scottsdale, AZ
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Compensation: $75-$85K
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Software: Yardi experience required
About the Opportunity:
We’re seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join our client’s growing team in Scottsdale, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management accounting, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience with Yardi software. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting a dynamic real estate portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review property management invoice entries for accuracy and completeness.
* Oversee and verify cash receipt postings.
* Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and support collection activities as needed.
* Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple properties.
* Calculate and post management fees and related adjustments.
* Prepare CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and annual tenant billings.
* Ensure timely and accurate month-end close processes.
* Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis as requested.
Qualifications:
* 4-5 years of property accounting experience in a commercial or residential real estate environment.
* Proficiency in Yardi software is required.
* Strong understanding of property management accounting practices, including CAM reconciliations and management fee calculations.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with property managers and internal teams.

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
