Vehicle Technician Required in Eastbourne, East Sussex
Basic Salary: in excess of £35,000+ DOE
Hours: 41-hour week, Mon-Thurs 08:30 - 17:30, Fri 08:30 - 16:00
Independent Garage – No Weekends Required!
We are seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join our client’s well-established independent garage in Eastbourne, East Sussex.
Our client is known locally for their commitment to staff and customers, providing high-quality servicing, repairs, and MOTs on all makes of cars and light commercial vehicles. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, supportive team within a secure and rewarding working environment.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our client:
10. Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of makes and models
11. Performing accurate vehicle diagnostics and effective fault finding
12. Completing internal documentation and maintaining accurate records
13. Contributing to the success of the workshop team by delivering high-quality work
14. Maintaining high standards aligned with quality and compliance requirements
What our client expects of their Vehicle Technician:
15. Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
16. Minimum of 4 years’ workshop experience
17. Strong diagnostic and repair skills
18. MOT Tester qualification is ideal but not essential (training can be provided)
19. Manual UK Driving Licence is required
20. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
21. Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to high-quality work
