Duties
* Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
* Troubleshoot electrical faults using hand tools and power tools to identify issues efficiently.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute installation and repair tasks accurately.
* Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure ongoing safety and functionality.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to coordinate work schedules and ensure project deadlines are met.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
* Document work performed, including repairs made and parts used, for record-keeping purposes.
Experience
* Proven experience as an Electrician within commercial or industrial environments.
* Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
* Strong electrical experience with knowledge of wiring methods, circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are highly desirable.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
